'Happy Place' Pop Up is Coming to Chicago!!

'Happy Place' is coming to Chicago! This summer, starting Thursday, June 28th, Chicagoans will get the chance to visit a pop-up funhouse called 'Happy Place.' The 20,000-square-foot interactive exhibit is filled with vibrant photo opportunities, and you might recognize some of the installations from EDM producer Marshmello's music video for "Friends."

Founded by Jared Paul on November 20, 2017, this massive pop-up experience is filled with larger than life size installations, multi-sensory immersive rooms, and dozens of moments curated to "Capture Your Happy." Highlights include: dancing in the middle of world’s largest indoor Confetti Dome,  jumping off of a larger than life double rainbow into a pot of happiness, posing inside Happy Place's signature rubber ducky bathtub of fun, 7-foot stilettos made of a million candies, and 6-foot-tall X and O letters made out of thousands of tiny mirrors, surrounded by a wall of one thousand red lips!!!

Happy Place will take over a warehouse at 1004 N Elston Avenue until Monday, August 6th. Admission to Happy Place is $30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and $35 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tickets for the exhibition went on sale this morning via the Happy Place website here, so it's not too early to lock down your spot. Between Happy Place and the recently announced Chicago edition of the 29Rooms exhibition, local Instagram feeds are going to get pretty interesting as the weather continues to heat up this summer.
