Tennessee Honey

Last night we were lucky enough to step into House No. 7, Jack Daniel's party that turned Revel Fulton Market into a 1950's themed hotel. It was such a crazy and awesome night, and the huge space was completely transformed into the party that dreams are made of. There was a room for pillow fights, a barber shop because sometimes you want a haircut when you're partying, a crazy EDM room, a bachelorette party complete with karaoke, speakeasies with rare Jack Daniel's reserves, and more. You walk into the hotel lobby and are immediately greeted by the bellhops, whom I heard were the guys to contact about getting things at the party (if you know what I mean). Once you told your worthy joke to them, and not one that goes,"You know what Vitamin C is in Spanish? Vitamin Yes!" (that guy did not get a key), you were whisked away on a dolly to a secret area of the party where guests could enjoy photo ops with pin up girls and more.

There was whiskey flowing non-stop all night in any imaginable form, depending on the bar you approached. My favorite of the night was the Tennessee Mule at the Tiki Bar, Jack's twist on the traditional Moscow mule. I am still a vodka girl at heart, but I could completely see myself ordering this drink at a bar this weekend because of its sweet and tangy flavor. It was the perfect drink to keep the party going. As the night carried on, we were lucky enough to receive poker chips from the hotel manager, guaranteeing us entry to a speakeasy room where a 1950's cover band belted out favorites from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and more.

While party raged onward, we were ushered to the stage to be graced with the presence of Ja Rule himself in an epic performance (he was probably hiding as far away as possible from Fyre Festival). It was a night to remember, and I hope you were lucky enough to be a part of it with me. Thanks, and until next time Jack!
