Miguel, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, DJ Snake, and Jamiroquai Headline North Coast Music Festival This Year

Even though we're still a few weeks away from MDW, I'm already planning for Labor Day Weekend since the North Coast Music Festival lineup this year is dope AF. For the 9th NCMF, Union Park will be filled with electronic acts, hip-hop emcees, and jam bands. This morning, organizers announced the festival's complete lineup, which means it's time to start planning out who you want to see at one of the last music festival of the season.

One of this year's headliners is Jamiroquai, one of the most celebrated bands in music, pioneers of the “future funk” sound that has inspired the current generation of musicians in countless ways. Returning to the US for the first time in over a decade, North Coast marks one of only a handful of American dates for the British pop-funk band. Also headlining is Grammy-Winning RnB sensation Miguel, best known for his sultry style of hip-hop laced slow jams, along with Axwell ^ Ingrosso, a duo whose work has left an indelible mark on electronic music, in addition to their output with Swedish House Mafia. We also welcome breakthrough electronic producer DJ Snake, who will be absolutely electric come Saturday night.

NorthCoast continues a tradition of creating new and unique experiences for loyal fans and newcomers alike. Last year, North Coast debuted a brand-new stage, added daily complimentary yoga sessions, a Pop-Up Art Gallery and teamed up with the likes of Ava Grey Designs and The Elder Tree to create a space one part Living Art Gallery, another part homage to the history of Chicago street art.
