little high, little low
Last week, I stumbled into what I think might be my favorite Chicago boutique. little high, little low is a fashion concept and online retailer in West Town that models itself after the well edited wardrobe and home of your coolest friend. The brand's name is both a tongue and cheek reference to the founders' backgrounds as well as the way the store is edited. Mixing casual vintage elements with streetwear and luxury is the crux of the LHLL aesthetic.
The store started out as a one time collaboration between two friends and has turned into a full fledged line of highly curated branded vintage sweatshirts, concert t-shirts, and modern streetwear pieces. Each piece of vintage is hand selected for its unique wear, fit, and natural distressing. The modern items are chosen with the same attention to detail and the logo carefully placed for the correct impact. It’s super rare for me to find some of my favorite brands in one retail location, much less a retail location in Chicago. They carry byFAR mules, F.A.M.T. tees, and Supreme sake sets. Make sure to stop by soon and check them out. Their selection is always changing!
