SocialWorks Presents: A Night at The Museum!
On December 20th from 6-9 pm at The Field Museum, SocialWorks will throw an event to showcase the nature of giving, unity, and thoughtfulness that this time of year should exhibit. SocialWorks, Chance the Rapper's charity, aims to empower young minds through the arts, education, and civic engagement while fostering leadership, accessibility, and positivity within the youth throughout Chicago. The Museum will be taken over SocialWorks Style, featuring the Chicago Bulls, Tiesta Tea, the Chicago Children's Choir, Frost Lighting, Oak Mill Bakery, Afri-Ware Bookstore, Community Christian Church, State Backpacks, the Discovery Squad, and many more surprises throughout the night.
They'll be collecting donations for Chicago's homeless at the event as well. SocialWorks kindly asks that all attendees consider bringing a donation for their warmth kits. Guests are encouraged to bring Coats, Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Socks, and Canned goods, so they can be later distributed at their "Tiesta Tea Spread the Warmth" campaign coming in January.
Come join me there for a mesmerizing and inspiring night! To purchase tickets for the event, visit their page here.
